    Thanks to the enthusiasm of a number of dog breeders, from the outset Royal Canin cast its net in France and beyond. Rather than buy bags for their own use only, these fanatics set about distributing them and building up a customer base, especially in rural co-operative networks. Once again, it is a story of believers. They are French, Swedes, Belgians, Germans, Italians and Spaniards... The common denominator is their passion for cats and dogs. Plus their spirit of enterprise and confidence, drawing strength from incredible, sustained growth. 


    This galloping development soon spawns the idea of setting up subsidiaries...
